About RATS

The Rugby Amateur Transmitting Society provides a meeting point for all radio amateurs and shortwave listeners in the Rugby area. Within the club there are people with a wide range of interest in all fields of Amateur Radio, computing and electronics.

We established our new Clubhouse, in conjunction with 12th Rugby Scouts, in the Autumn of 2013. Since then many new members have completed courses at the club and successfully obtained their Foundation and Intermediate Licences. We also have had several Full Licence successes! Well done all.

With an active and growing membership, we are able to invest in new ‘toys’ and facilities to benefit all.

The Society meets at at its Clubhouse in Brownsover from 14:00 – 18:00 on Saturday afternoons. Tuesday evening meetings are usually held when not conflicting with UKAC contests.

A Calendar for the current month has now added to Club Events.
